Google unifies user images across all of its services

Google said on Monday that it plans to unify the profile picture of users of the e-mail service Gmail service with the account picture of the Google
Account, in an effort to facilitate the user experience.

When the G Suite user wants to change their profile photos on Gmail, they will be taken to the About me section of their Google Account profile settings.

The situation at the moment includes a different profile picture for Gmail and Google profile, which Google says is confusing. Now, the picture is unified for all Google services and applications.

Gmail users can unify the image by going to Settings, then General, then My Picture, where they will be taken directly to where they choose the image for their Google account.

If the user has two different images now, Google will ask them to choose one, or upload a new one when going to the About me section settings.
